The Southern Oregon Live Steamers is a 501 c (3) non profit organization dedicated to modeling in the 7 1/2" gauge from 1 1/2" to 2 1/2" to the foot scales. SOLS was started in 1981 at the old Medford Sewer Plant, and lease the land within the fenced area from the city of Medford, Oregon. Most structures and all the track has been purchased and or constructed with donations from the riding public.

The club owns and operates 3 locomotives and a large number of riding cars, some of which were donated by Paul Neeley's widow. Many other locomotives are owned by club members. Some of the motive power was built by hand by club members and others were purchased fully constructed and "RTR" (Ready To Run).

Railroad Park is open for operations to the public on the second and fourth Sundays of each month from April through October. On Labor day each year, we have a special run day for all family members and friends. A Potluck dinner, train rides and other activities fill this special run day each year where we get to meet other railroad enthusiasts.

Club meetings are held once a month, at 7:00p.m. on the Monday following the fourth Sunday of the month to conduct club business and inform membership as to what is going on and happening with the club.
