North Eastern Oklahoma Live Steamers

From the club's Facebook page, January 2020:

A group of privately owned 7.5” gauge railroads and enthusiast from North Eastern Oklahoma including live steam, diesel, and electric locomotives. The railroads are not open to the public or do we hold official meetings. Most of the members are located in North Eastern Oklahoma. We periodically get together to run or work on each other’s railroads. We enjoy sharing the enjoyment of the hobby with our Friends and Family.

Here are the private railroads operating or under construction in our area (that we know of):

• Muskogee and Northwestern, 2000’ Muskogee – Tom and Sheila Harrington
• Dogwood and Redbud Shortline, 600’ Owasso - Dave and Becky Salamon
• Double T Railroad, 600’ Sperry – Tom Buttler
• Virginia City and Wabash, 500’ down, 2000’ planned West Tulsa? – Hugh and Virginia Keen
• Railroad in planning stages, Tahlequah - Dale and Lorra Fowler
