Did you know that on June 23, 1982 in the capitol of Sacramento, California, the California State Assembly passed Resolution # 2124 honoring and commending the International Brotherhood of Live Steamers upon the celebration of its 50th Anniversary, applauding the contributions which the organization has made to its membership and to the community over the years and extending best wishes for continued success in its future!

I have the original framed resolution, signed by the Honorable Norman S. Waters of the 7th Assembly District. It is a large glass framed document which was carefully packaged and mailed to me two or three years ago from Texas, from one of the daughters of the late IBLS secretary Dick Thomas.
